Hi friends!

As we mentioned yesterday, we’re going to start up Wedding Wednesdays on the blog, and our first feature is Picture Perfect Weddings, an ongoing series about making the most of your wedding photos.  Having been married ourselves (and to each other, no less!) we know how exciting, and at times overwhelming, the wedding planning process can be.  Ian and I attend a lot of weddings every year and we hope our experience can help you make the most of your wedding day.  We want to help make your engagement as relaxed and fun as possible, so we’ve put together this guide to give you some tips and tricks from our photographers’ perspective.  We hope you use the guide as a starting place for envisioning your wedding, from the timeline to key elements.

Each week we’ll be talking about a key element in your wedding, from getting ready to the ceremony and reception.  Within each post we’ll share “Quick Tips” to give you additional pointers to help the day flowing smoothly.  We’ll also include some big picture information for a broad look at your wedding day.  We wish you the best of luck in your planning process and remember to enjoy every moment!

Note: The Picture Perfect Weddings series uses the traditional terms “bride” and “groom” for clarification in some areas, however we love untraditional weddings!  Feel free to mix and match the terms to your heart’s content.
