Stephanie and Max are a loving and genuine couple and we were so lucky to join them on their wedding day. I felt like we had a great connection with them on their UCLA engagement session, so I’ve been looking forward to shooting their wedding for awhile. Honestly, my favorite weddings [Tanya can attest to this] are the ones where you can see it in the couple how much the love and care for each other, and with Steph and Max there wasn’t a dry eye in the church that day.
The wedding was up in the mountains past Santa Clarita in a small town called Fillmore, nicknamed “one of the last best small towns”. Fillmore is located in the sunny Ventura agricultural belt so the whole surrounding area is filled with orange groves as far as the eye can see. The town itself is fitted with beautiful western ‘turn of the century’ architecture, has a working steam locomotive that takes tourists on mini rides through the area. It also has a fantastic open courtyard in front of the city hall which is where they had their wedding reception. Very very neat place. On to the photos!
