  • Welcome to Ian Grant Photography!

My name is Ian and I'm a photographer in greater the Los Angeles area. That's my wife Tanya over there too- she's great with clients and has a fantastic fashion sense [we got married at Point Lobos, CA ourselves a few years back].   I specialize in Wedding Photography and LA Headshots but you'll often catch me out shooting landscapes and traveling insane distances to visit National Parks in my spare time.

In my wedding photography I like to combine both, so I guess I'm a landscape-wedding photographer.  I love long roadtrips and have been all over the US from Rhode Island to California. I enjoy planning far away trips and going over to Europe to drive around aimlessly for an extended amount of time [especially Iceland!]. Tanya and I run Ian Grant Photography out of our beach spot in the Los Angeles suburb of Playa del Rey, CA. Enjoy your stay, and feel free to introduce yourself!

Wedding dates for 2012/2013 are quickly filling up! If you're interested in having us shoot your wedding or event, please contact us and we'll get right back to you! Feel free to let us know your wedding ideas and how we can help!

Thank you for visiting! -Ian and Tanya

Fillmore City Hall Wedding Photography: Stephanie and Max

Stephanie and Max are a loving and genuine couple and we were so lucky to join them on their wedding day.  I felt like we had a great connection with them on their UCLA engagement session, so I've been looking forward to shooting their wedding for awhile. Honestly, my favorite weddings [Tanya can attest to this] are the ones where you can see it in the couple how much the love and care for each other, and with Steph and Max there wasn't a dry eye in the church that day.

The wedding was up in the mountains past Santa Clarita in a small town called Fillmore, nicknamed "one of the last best small towns".  Fillmore is located in the sunny Ventura agricultural belt so the whole surrounding area is filled with orange groves as far as the eye can see.  The town itself is fitted with beautiful western 'turn of the century' architecture, has a working steam locomotive that takes tourists on mini rides through the area. It also has a fantastic open courtyard in front of the city hall which is where they had their wedding reception.  Very very neat place.  On to the photos!
