ian - i'm pretty excited, i love researching these trips! i've seen great photos from all these locations, so i should have some pretty good luck hopefully!

Manu - Sounds like a great itinerary. Away from touristy France for the most part. Hope you'll find the time to see some castles around Chinon - there's a few to choose from there... ;-)
The train ride should be nice too.
