Finally got bag number one of three back from British Airways today, the thing was beat to hell and strangely wet on the bottom inside. I also brought along a bottle of Vitamin C pills to keep me from getting sick, which seemed to have imploded in the bag, first opening the bottle, then spreading the pills all neatly inside, then pulverizing them into a fine powder which covered the entire inside of the bag. I spent awhile washing my bag, tripod and clothes today. Tanya's and my last two bags are still nowhere to be seen [16 days MIA now]. I'm hoping for the 45 days because I called Citibank the other day to see what their insurance for lost luggage was and turns out after the airline 'lost phase' is complete you get $3k per bag. I want that and will promptly replace everything for about a 10th of the price.
