Humboldt Lagoons State Park, in particular Stone Lagoon is one of my favorite places to go visit. It might be that every time I've been there no one is around and it's massively foggy that I like it so much, but it's generally a really amazing place to be. One the last trip to Redwoods I stopped by and as I approached Stone Lagoon there was this random little seal just sitting there hanging out on a log of sorts. He was just sitting there checking me out, so it was an amusing little part of the day. Later on, I found his headless little buddy on the beach so that might have explained what he was doing. Sad.
