Canyonlands National Park
Utah
It was a mildly frightening drive from Capitol Reef National Park over to Canyonlands in Moab, Utah. Just hundreds of miles of empty valley floor with giant birds hanging around the side of the road just waiting for you to break down so they can eat you. Tanya and I had visited a few years earlier, and as expected not a whole lot had changed- except the weather was pretty hazy and crummy this time around. Even the cows were still in the middle of the road like last time, hilarious! It was nice to be able to peek around again though, such a gorgeous area.
