Stephanie and Michael are LA locals getting married in Texas where they met, but they wanted an engagement session that showed off their LA life [and to rub in the fact that the rest of the country is currently freezing with snow]. We decided to shoot in El Matador State Park, a tiny beach in Malibu that is one of the hidden gems of LA. It's actually right near Zuma beach where we shot another Malibu engagement session last year. This wave-carved beach is one of my favorites because of the sea stacks, beautiful cliffs, tons of pelicans, and rock tunnels everywhere! We shot around sunset which has some of the best lighting and we got some photos that truly capture their love. Enjoy!
