For some reason I don't think I've mentioned this to too many people, but I have my first gallery show [gasp!] here in Los Angeles on Sunday Feb. 18th and it's to support my 'Sick and Indigent Roomkeeper's Society' photography book that was released in November. I've been shooting a ton lately, but I'm just now getting around to posting some of the goods up! One of latest shoots I did was over at the dying remains of a famous Hollywood punk club called The Masque. It wasn't active for long, but all the graffiti on the walls still remain and...

the punk scene was a unforgettable time period hopefully they dont ever paint over it!!!!
The first graffiti was from the Bags and the Skulls. They left very little room for our"Controllers" . Spazz Attack was in charge of the next graffiti that you see from early 1978.

hollywood really isnt too pretty, there's more crazies and trash than they know what to do with
this post (and the glacier national park photos) brought a smile to my face. it's nice to see that someone else sees hollywood in its after-hours not-so-glamorous state. the neon diminishes, the crowds head back over laurel canyon and the trees on the sidewalks create this darkened murkiness on the roads. v. nice
