On one of my many trips back to Los Angeles I got to catch up with an old friend Mildred , part of the wonderful family that I shot down in Torrey Pines last year. Mildred graduated Mount St Mary’s this year, so we headed over to beautiful Westwood to shoot some graduation photos.

Molly and Bill are easily some of the best photo clients we’ve ever had. We’ve photographed them through their engagement, wedding, pregnancy, first child Ben, and now welcoming their second boy, Will! They moved up near Portland a couple years ago from Los Angeles and it’s great to see their ever expanding family up close and in person! They are such amazing parents and now little Ben is a big brother, clearly he’s loving it!

Tanya, Lily, and I have been getting out of the city as much as possible lately and the website Tmber has been a great resource. I came across their video review of the Big Four Ice Caves and knew it would be a ton of fun for everyone. The next morning we packed up the toddler backpack and drove up into the Cascades for a day of fun.

just wanted to drop in today and tell you a personal story about the value of family pictures. I have the extreme luck of being married to a professional photographer, one whose job also happens to be his passion. As in most cases where someone loves what they do, Ian tends to have a camera on hand all the time – whether it be one of his professional Canon series cameras or simply an iPhone – and he’s always documenting our life together. Needless to say, we have a ton of pictures in our house.
