Folks, for you film shooters still out there you should be really happy- the Diana Camera is back [I still have my original one]. It’s being produced by some company called Unica and I can virtually guarantee they are going to make a killing on it. I mean, it is a crappy plastic body with a plastic lens- how much could it really cost? Back when I used to shoot film through this badboy I used to have to gaff tape the entire thing up because there were light leaks all over the place. I highly recommend buying one of these though, if you think a Holga camera is the coolest thing ever, you haven’t played with this amazing piece of work yet.

i just picked up a Canon SD630 digital elph for our France Trip [now only 7 days away]. i previously owned the Canon SD100 way back in the day, and took it all around europe, probably getting a good 20k shots on the thing. it was a great pocket camera, and that had a lot to do with wanting to get another one. the big problem i have is my Canon 5D is so bulky so it makes taking fun snapshots a chore, having a small little camera again will be great- plus i’ll enjoy posting up the videos it takes on here.

i just bought me a new toy, i’ve heard such amazing things about the canon 135mm f/2L lens i decided to sell my 70-200 f/4L and went and got me a new lens. i like the idea that it’s much smaller than the 70-200 and it wont cause alarm when i pull it out [ie: it’s not big and white] so i’m looking forward to lots of great shots from it.
