Wedding Photography Blog by Los Angeles Photographer Ian Grant bio picture

Welcome to Ian Grant Photography

Thank you for checking in on our blog! My name is Ian and I'm a photographer in greater the Los Angeles area. That's my wife Tanya over there too- she's great with clients and has a fantastic design sense.   I specialize in Wedding Photography and Headshots but you'll often catch me out shooting landscapes and visiting National Parks in my spare time. In my wedding photography I like to combine both, so I guess I'm a landscape-wedding photographer.  I love long roadtrips and have been all over the US from Rhode Island to California. I enjoy planning far away trips and going over to Europe to drive around aimlessly for an extended amount of time. Tanya and I run Ian Grant Photography out of our beach spot in the Los Angeles subburb of Playa del Rey, CA. Enjoy your stay, and feel free to introduce yourself!

Wedding dates for 2009/2010 are quickly filling up! If you're interested in having us shoot your wedding or event, please contact us and we'll get right back to you! Feel free to let us know your wedding ideas and how we can help!

Thank you for visiting!

It’s that time of year again, and Tanya and I didn’t want to let you down. For this year’s friendly postcard, we’re channeling The Salton Sea, and dressed the pets up and took them to our favorite abandoned shack with a big red X to get a few snaps. You might notice a...

Day Seven Ireland Roadtrip: Foulksrath Castle!

I’ve always wanted to stay at the Foulksrath Castle Hostel, so this time around it’s going to happen. The Foulksrath is right outside Kilkenny and will put us in a decent position to be able to return the rent-a-car early in the morning the next day [it's a couple hours outside Dublin]. On...

Day Six Ireland Roadtrip: Killarney Hostel

Day Six will be spent on the wonderful Ring of Kerry as well as in Killarney National Park. Hopefully I’ll get to run down to my favorite little town of Kenmare too if there’s time. For the night we’re going to be staying in Killarney International Hostel right next to the National Park....

Day Five Ireland Roadtrip: Dun Chaoin Hostel

Day five is going to be a bit of a nice drive, from Connemara we’re heading down through Galway and around the Dingle Peninsula. One of my favorite areas is the very westernmost point called Slea Head. It has a gorgeous view of the famous Blasket Islands and basically it’s beautiful sheep filled...
