Wedding Photography Blog by Los Angeles Photographer Ian Grant bio picture

Welcome to Ian Grant Photography

Thank you for checking in on our blog! My name is Ian and I'm a photographer in greater the Los Angeles area. That's my wife Tanya over there too- she's great with clients and has a fantastic design sense.   I specialize in Wedding Photography and Headshots but you'll often catch me out shooting landscapes and visiting National Parks in my spare time. In my wedding photography I like to combine both, so I guess I'm a landscape-wedding photographer.  I love long roadtrips and have been all over the US from Rhode Island to California. I enjoy planning far away trips and going over to Europe to drive around aimlessly for an extended amount of time. Tanya and I run Ian Grant Photography out of our beach spot in the Los Angeles subburb of Playa del Rey, CA. Enjoy your stay, and feel free to introduce yourself!

Wedding dates for 2009/2010 are quickly filling up! If you're interested in having us shoot your wedding or event, please contact us and we'll get right back to you! Feel free to let us know your wedding ideas and how we can help!

Thank you for visiting!

Day Three Ireland Roadtrip: MalinBeg Hostel

For day three I’m going to be staying at the

Great Gifts! Transit Maps of the World!

I have a personal love for travel books and maps, especially National Park maps and outdated travel guides- so this great gift is a combo of both!

Here’s the description:
Transit Maps of the World is the first and only comprehensive collection of historic and current maps of every rapid-transit system on earth. Using glorious, colorful...

Day One Ireland Roadtrip: Slane Farm Hostel; Slane, Ireland

The first day of our great Ireland Road Trip is basically going to consist of recovering from our massive flights [I'm coming direct from Los Angeles to Dublin] so instead of my original plan of driving from Dublin > Donegal, it’s going to be a bit lighter. I found [on one of my new...

The Diana Camera is Back!;

Folks, for you film shooters still out there you should be really happy- the Diana Camera is back [I still have my original one]. It’s being produced by some company called Unica and I can virtually guarantee they are going to make a killing on it. I mean, it is a crappy plastic...
